Port Moody elects one mayor, six councillors and two School District 43 trustees, all on one ballot. The official candidate list has 2 candidates for mayor, 16 for council and 4 for school trustee. See who's running.
When results are posted
Polls close at 8:00pm on October 17. The City posts preliminary results the same night and declares them official in the days that follow. Numbers here are marked preliminary until that declaration. In 2022 the sixth council seat came down to an exact tie, settled by a judicial recount ten days after the vote, so close races can take longer.

8,989 ballots were cast, a turnout of 36.28%. Meghan Lahti was elected mayor with 4,938 votes over Steve Milani's 3,952. Callan Morrison topped the council poll with 4,740 votes, and the sixth council seat ended in an exact tie at 3,597 that was settled by a judicial recount and a draw.
