This is the campaign website for Callan Morrison's re-election to Port Moody City Council. We want you to feel comfortable here, so this is a plain explanation of the little bit of information the site handles.

What we collect and why

We collect two things.

First, basic website usage data through Google Analytics. This tells us things like which pages people visit and roughly where visits come from, so we can see what's useful and make the site better. It's aggregated and your IP address is anonymized, so it isn't used to identify you personally.

Second, if you fill out the contact form, we collect the name, email, and message you send. We use that only to read and reply to you. Those messages go to the campaign inbox at [email protected].

We don't sell or share your information

We don't sell your information and we don't share it with anyone for their own use. Google Analytics processes the usage data on our behalf as our analytics provider, and that's the only outside party involved.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings any time and the site will still work.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages only as long as we need them to follow up, and we clear them out after that. If you'd like us to delete your message sooner, just ask.
